At Harrow Capital, we make growth capital investments in early-stage companies as well as minority and majority buyouts of mature businesses. Unlike private equity firms, we’re a family office with no outside investors, so we don’t plan to “flip” the companies that we buy after a few years. We plan to hold them and grow them and their brands over the long-term (decades or more). This allows us to use lower leverage and make the right long-term investment decisions for our companies rather than seeking a quick profit.
Across all of our investments, our business philosophy can be summed up as follows: if we take care of our customers and our employees first, financial returns will follow.
We have experience investing in early-stage growth companies, mature businesses, majority and minority equity stakes, and even debt. We can work with companies to design the right financing structure for them in a very flexible manner.
We value honesty and integrity in business, and we have a very long-term investment horizon which drives us to make the best decisions for our companies’ employees and the legacies of their founders.
We have a lean team, so we can make decisions quickly. We also have a strong balance sheet and low leverage appetite, so we’re not reliant on external financing to close deals quickly.
We provide capital to help our companies grow and analytical resources to help our management teams make better decisions and improve margins. Our companies also have access to our extensive network for strategic insight and recruiting.
